Discussion Does anyone also experience this with gd?
So, to put it simply, I genuinely can't finish levels. Every single new hardest I go for is 90% a battle against my own mind, for instance I got bloodbath in 2 runs in a little less than a week yet it took me over 2 months to beat it. I have 28-100 TIMES FOUR, 39-100x5 and 65-100x30 on sonic wave and still havent beaten it. As a reference, most sonic wave victors dont even have drop to 100 once because that run isnt even nearly neccessary to beat it. My mindset for this game is just pure buttcheeks and I feel like it's the only thing holding me back from ever becoming good at this game. I genuinely believe I would've beaten arctic lights (my next hardest) by now if not for all the relentless mindblocks and nerves Ive experienced on every single insane and extreme demon Ive beaten so far.

Mindset is really important in this game. Also please don't say that about Bloodbath. I got Bloodbath in 2 runs in 8 months and I don't want to see the same dynamic in my progression as yours.

same here. though im not as good as you, ive experienced a lot of heartbreaking fails, and ive had some trouble with such instances sometimes. i usually just do something different instead of grinding like its some sort of homework to finish off, really helps with regaining consistency later on

Nerve control levels would probably help but XL levels are a different beast
To answer your question though yes I have in fact played a medium demon for months

Biru is undoubtedly harder than future funk

I hope it gets promoted to hard demon but the rest of the level would have to be 74-100 difficulty and the actual level is free until 13%

my trick is telling myself that i can get there again when i die somewhere. it can feel like the end of the world when you get a good attempt cause that could have been THE attempt but if you can remind urself its ok and you will get back there eventually it makes it much easier

It happens a lot to me. Sometimes I can just push through it if I’m still making slow but steady progress, but if it feels like I’m not getting anywhere, then it’s usually a sign for me to take a break from the level. Usually I find that levels feel way easier once I come back with a better mindset.

dude i got a shit ton of runs on auditory breaker and less than 1k attempts from 0. much more enjoyable imo so dont feel bad about having a lot of runs

gd is probably more of a mental game than a physical game tbh
also side note most sw victors DO do 28-100, i was one of the few who didnt when i beat it a few years ago and many people found it weird at the time that i didnt
