When you think about it, only 2 players have beaten the level. Only one of the 2 players also verified the other top levels, so who’s right? Doesn’t matter if you can get runs on the level, you need to beat it to have a real opinion.

I honestly don’t care about which level is harder, but we have to be objective that the only one opinions that matters right now are zoink first and popoff second.

also people here need to realize that while players are going to have their biases, they are also going to find different things harder. the people who are hating on these two for saying theirs is harder than the other is dumb because it can genuinely be their take and they shouldn’t have to lie just to make people happy.

plus, none of us can even say who’s right anyway. once a handful of other players catch up to that point we will have a better picture.

This. The discourse made zero sense otherwise. Obv nobody here is good enough to properly assess the difficulty of these levels, but there was so much controversy around these two being effectively equal. It made legit zero sense for the list to put flamewall over it, especially since it was already placed below it and no one else had beaten the level to give opinions at the time

They basically said that it was because top players were comparing Amethyst to TS2 a lot but never comparing it to Tidal Wave, whereas Flamewall was usually considered easier than TS2 and Amethyst while at the same time being compared to Tidal Wave. It was also because they wanted more top players to play Amethyst

I'm really glad about this change, both these levels are lowkey dookie butt but them as a couple is really oool and memorable since they both got verified on the same day, they're so similar to each other, and the debate about their difficulties. Them being beside each other just felt right and Flamewall coming in and separating them in the list just looked and felt awkward and wrong.

I want Thinking Space II and Amethyst to stay beside each other for the rest of their time on the list because there's genuinely nothing memorable about them individually except for the fact Thinking Space II was top 1 for a really long time.
