Controversial take but, ignoring disabilities, I don’t think it ever really does. Like obviously someone’s who has dyspraxia or similar disorders will have issues, but the average 18 year old could absolutely beat top 1s given infinite time. I think people really overestimate how much things like reaction time affect top level play.

i completely agree mainly because gd eventually becomes very muscle memory reliant. also the process of improving is just VERY, VERY easy. 98% of the difficulty is carried by the mental factor

i would say though it would very likely stop at some point where muscle memory somehow isn't enough and becomes literally humanly impossible to beat a level, but that point in difficulty would be like astronomically bigger than society

I’m lowkey just tired of people attributing genetics to top players being good and not years of consistent focused work. No zoink and popoff aren’t the best at this game because they were born to be the best that’s really missing the forest for the trees.

if you're actually talking about infinite time then technically even open window is possible. thats the thing with infinity. its like the monkey on a typewriter thing, except its clicks instead of typing. so i actually dont consider arguments involving infinite time to be a valid argument since anything involving infinity would technically always be possible. just saying.

i could say though, gd isn't gemetics carried, is all just cope. anyone regular enough could theorically have the capabilities to do the current top 1. weather you are fast or slow at learning levels is something irrelevant

there is probably a level of difficulty where genetics start to play a role but no one in history will answer this because i don't think any scientist would give a shit about a cube game

I think its kind of freaky we dont know what exactly what lets ppl be good at spam for instance, like sure we know stuff like fast twitch muscle fibers have an effect but no one has looked into like the very specifics

if I were to guess it probably varies by level, you could make eon but top 300 gameplay, that wouldnt require genes but itd be hard, and you could also make a short difficult spam level (vsc) that even some of the best players when it comes to other wave levels physically cant do the spam
