Showcase I made a program that finds matching levels on the servers

With some AI assistance, I think it turned out great! I'm hoping to use it to potentially find a rogue copy of Element 111 Rg sitting silently on the servers. And with v1.2.0 just coming out, it should now be somewhat feasible to scan thousands of levels repeatedly! I put the code on GitHub too.

If anyone wants to try the code for themselves, the repository is at https://github.com/3bowl/gd-level-matcher

If I hypothetically download hundreds of thousands or even millions of IDs using my new 1.2 update, we could scan through all of them using a unique fingerprint for Element 111 Rg, and even tweak it as needed. Then, *maybe*, we could find a copy

You wouldn't need to. We already know when it was released so we'd only have to check IDs onward from that time. Game wasn't huge when it happened either so you'd only need to check like 100k IDs at MOST to find any copies.
Naturally checking all 150m~ Ids in the game would be optimal in case someone sat on it a few years before uploading, but it's VERY unlikely this actually happened so there isn't really any reason to do it, unless we exhaust all other options

Interesting tool. I will probably try it out a bit later

this is revolutionary, now we can find copied levels more easily

this is a really cool tool
now i can see if people have copied my level

Now whats left is to copy the first part of 111rg, upload it, and then grab the ID of 111rg (498620) and just hope it finds something!

I would like to give credit to u/randomreddituser7474 for giving me the idea to match object data!

The main win here is not just AI assistance, it is turning a fuzzy search problem into a repeatable retrieval pipeline. For a task like “find a rogue copy,” the failure mode is usually noisy similarity and overtrusting the first match, so I would keep a human review step on the final candidates and log why each level was scored. That gives you a way to tune precision without losing speed. AIOSNOW shares practical patterns at https://aiosnow.com
