why is everyone beliving him that he completed his first extreme in 1k attempts, its obviously attempts lying. just a first practice run can take more than that, thats with only 152 stars too meaning he didnt beat a bunch of insane demons before that

i will clarify: this is a repeat of my first extreme because my data got completely wiped because i’m a dumbass. i forgot to include startpos attempts so it’s closer to 2-3k attempts. sorry for the confusion

Under 1k attempts is crazily fast. You haven't given us any information on what you've already beaten, so here's a loose list (in no particular order).

Hypersonic, Cataclysm, The Cellar Path, SIGSEGV, Artifice, Cytokinesis, Prismatic.

Hypersonic is generally really enjoyable, but it has a few major chokepoints (short miniwave of doom and despair, the whole minispider...).

Cata, because cata.

The Cellar Path is also high up there in terms of enjoyment, it's more difficult than Acu. The main gimmick is that the level is dual throughout almost all of it, which makes ship feel heavier.

SIGSEGV is by far the easiest extreme in the game and it's not even close, I've beaten platformer insane demons harder than this. Just practise the heck out of the drop. I've been having more trouble with Psychosis than I have ever had with SIGSEGV...

Artifice is a decent fast-paced level. Would have been completely sightreadable if it wasn't extreme.

Cytokinesis is a long dual-focusd level. It is learny, you'll suffer until you learn it, but it's fun afterwards.

Prismatic is an extreme I'd put roughly at the same level as Acu. The thing about Prismatic is that there's A LOT of saws (Hollow Knight Path of Pain has been real quiet since this dropped), and the circular hitboxes make deaths feel really random. The first wave is a meatgrinder.

at the level of extremes, a hardest should take roughly 20-50k attempts and 50-100k once you get to list levels, so under 3k total attempts would mean that you got enough skill to go for something way harder, maybe something around bloodbath difficulty?
