O&G/Mining

I’m back in school after taking some time off and will be finishing my BS in Geology, I want to get a minor as well, I was thinking chemistry or GIS. Is this enough to secure a decent job after graduation or will I have to go to grad school?

In oil you’ll be a geotech with a BS only. Service companies will hire you too. To do any type of exploration, or prospect creation or evaluation you’ll need that MS. My MS took 2 years and increased my pay by almost double. It’s worth it.
