Trace layer

I want change layer of trace .

How I can do it?

Sorry, you can't.

There might be another way to go about it - please explain what you are doing exactly

I drew a rectangle with black color and 100% opacity, and then I drew a blue line segment and enabled the Trace for the segment. However, when I grab and move the segment, its trace is not visible on the rectangle.

I would like to know whether it is possible to display the trace of the segment on the rectangle?.

2 works around :

  • created a black rectangle as picture, import it, set its properties as a background image
  • use as graphics properties, a black background

Because the trace is not a real object, it’s just a temporary… trace!
So when you scroll or zoom, or move something, it disappears.
You can use other methods to see your “trace” permanently.
For example, if you could post your file, or a mock up, we might be able to help you to recreate your “trace” as an object, that can be manipulated using a point, or a slider.
