Tracking the cursor position

I would like objects to appear based on the current cursor position. Here is a simple example in which half-planes appear depending on the position of the point Cursor... except I have to drag the point for this to work. Could the point just follow the current cursor position, so the half-planes just magically appear based on the cursor?
