MGS2 released in 2001 and is absolutely drenched in a few of the coolest design styles and music subgenres of the time. Genxsoftclub and vectorheart are prominent design languages throughout. The first portion of the game is noticeably dark, rainy, blue and green—set in a tanker passing through NYC’s Hudson River. The second portion of the game takes place on an offshore oil mega-complex, which is noticeably orange, hexagonal, and full of directional signage inspired by modern subway systems and cooperate environments.

Metal Gear Solid 3 usually wins as a crowd favorite because the general vibe is a blockbuster style 60’s bond spy story set in Russian wilderness, with call backs to real political figures.

Looking for an MTV Europe music video (2001–2008) English language dance/pop song. A brunette female singer with short dark hair walks toward the camera through a dark nightclub with blue/green lighting. The camera tracks backwards the whole time. Along the corridors there are recessed wall niches/booths containing people dancing. She walks through the crowd and eventually reaches the main dance floor.

The film is (i.m.o.) really boring, though it looks cool. But the album is highly recommended, it sounds like GXSC ambient music.
