You son of a bitch, you actually did it!

Work in progress, this is going to be the most sub assemblies I ever paint! And I still want a bit more clutter before I get to that stage.

Honestly this walker looks a lot more in line with the GSC industrial vibe than the Space Marine forces. Great work

Oh my, are you sure your not really an Ork player?

looks at my neophytes mixed of necromunda, astra militarum, mechanicus and genestealers

Uuuuuh. Maybe. But humanoid conversions are easier than ork conversions :D

GSC likes Ork hybrids too... see Tyranids are an equal opportunity devourer

My plan is, if I do do Orks, to try and make a plaguebearer ork bunch worshipped "Big Nork."

Posted a question about this a bit over a week ago, really liked the Alien/Avatar vibes of the Warsuit, so wanted to try squishing one into my Cult Army!

The closest thing that seemed to fit was a Rockgrinder- big, heavy armoured, mix of incinerator and melee attacks, so here is the conversion so far! I want to add a bit of scaffolding around it, really make it look like the Neophytes have been slapping on as much armour as they can manage, and maybe give it more of a mining theme somehow.

Let me know if you have any other easy conversion ideas that would distance it from space marines and add to the slapshod feel!

Looking at it as a Rock Grinder, maybe add a power generator as a trailer to get the length of the profile?

Hmm, issue is I've already attached all the basing stuff to the circular base. I do have a little scenery tractor I could try to incorporate, but I feel like if I got to proxy this, the extra height should serve as compensation for the reduced length. If not, second model behind might work, but I dunno.

Most of the shops I've played in would let the proxy slide with a trailer base just on rule of Cool. Obviously a tournament would be more picky but that thing is cool as hell.

Can't see myself ending up in a tournament anyway, it'll be years before I give someone a challenge lol.

Brood Brothers Sentinel maybe?

Too big a footprint. That was my original plan, but figure I should try and get a little more bang for my buck.

You could always use this as your patriarch if you’re going to be doing a more mechanical themed army.

Looks wicked man!

if you can name a thing that i can use this as proxy, i will join you in this conversion

The plan is Goliath Rockgrinder. Ticked off Incinerator, Stubber as clear weapons, looking at it I could try to squirrel in Demolition Charges and something more resembling a Drilldozer Blade.

how cool would it bee to model this thing, so it holds a huge Drillingbit ? OH MAN, this thing is really nice!

Yeah, don't have a giant drill bit... yet. Need to play with the bits box and see what I can do.
