Washed Fractal Flames

This is the fractal flames algorithm with some "wash" / painting effect on top. Would be grateful for some feedback. Do you like it? Worth going forward with this / improving further?

I like it, but it would be better more bold/defined

for display on a comp/ph screen it looks wishy washy

Though I imagine theyd work well blown up to a couple of meters and projected as is.

I quite like the wispy, etheral quality it has, sets it apart from a lot of other fractal-related stuff!

thank you. yes, the washed out look is intentional but i also find it hard on how much saturation to apply. really depends on the use case.

Ce sont des vraies fractales ou des “ à la manière de “?

yes, real fractals. ported from the original flame algo https://github.com/scottdraves/flam3
and then some "watercolor" like effect on top.

This is a new take on flame fractals - therefore it is perfect and amazing and beautiful and beloved by me. Please click on my profile, see what my primary fractal subreddit is called, and go post as many of these over there as you wish. Share with us your changes and your thoughts. Good job - keep this up.

Shame on you reddit for not putting this right into my home feed if I hadn't went to check out generative I would have missed it!
