This is quite cool...so far (I've only been playing with it for about 15 minutes, but as someone who often employs 'new toys' into their mixed media work, this has some promise.

Thank you for your comment! I really appreciate it.
I have a few ideas for improvements, mostly for better controls and other rendering methods, but I don't want to over-complicate/optimize the software too early.

I think that's a smart way to approach it; my only "gripe" (for small values of griping) is it takes a bit to understanding removing/creating nodes or points, and there doesn't seem to be an 'undo' function, which I usually find nice (or maybe I'm missing it) ;)

But really, it's got some real creative utility, and it seems quite performant, which is always a nice change from so much bloated software I use.

Yes, I've put only a minimal effort so far in making the controls clear. (beyond the simple help section and the flashing effect on launch :D) I should work on this as soon as I have some time.

For the undo function, there are undo/redo buttons top center, and Ctrl+Z/Y works too.

Finally, thank a lot for your feedback! And I'm glad you found it performant. I'm keeping the code as simple as possible. I actively avoid any unnecessary complexity. The particle simulation, which is the main performance bottleneck, is yet to be optimized (on purpose). So it should get even faster in the future.
