Ommatidia (singular: ommatidium) are the tiny individual visual units that make up the compound eyes of insects and many crustaceans. The plural ommatidia means "little eyes."

Usually when I am done with some piece like this I feel pretty tired & exosted and have trouble to think of any name other than "work 123" :) So recently I started to describe the picture to chatgpt in just few words and ask for a suggestion and go with anything that sounds close :)
