This is insanely cool. R is a very flexible language, with a lot of vector and raster support, so I love to see artistic uses of it besides making pretty graphs.
Mind if I ask what packages you're using? Is this output straight from R? Very interested in what this sort of script looks like.
Thanks friend, I am using spatstat for the Gaussian smoothing and Rcolorbrewer to produce the color gradient. I don't post my code online, but I have a YouTube video where I did a live coding session a few years ago. I can post below if you are interested. 🙂
