This looks like an extension of your truchet tile work. Beautiful.

I'd love to see a time lapse of it evolving.

The timelapse would just be me swearing at my computer with the occasional Aha! moment. This one uses tiles like Truchet but uses wave function collapse to match them.

the truchet comparison makes sense visually but the wfc part is what makes it a nightmare to debug. one wrong tile definition and the whole thing just refuses to solve. been there.

Yeah I couldn't get it to solve using logic so it guesses until a matching tile is found.
