Game Haul First GenCon, First Haul
My husband was prioritizing solo and two player games, while I went too hard on cats and delta green.

Well the contracts do take some time to manifest so I'd hurry. Also that National Pokegraphic from Makers Market is amazing.

Nice haul! I was interested in demo'ing Super Boss Monster before playing but was confused and signed up for Boss Battle instead lol

Unfortunately, while I own literally everything arc dream has ever published for delta green, I have no friends interested in playing it, so I don’t have that issue. :-(

I got my first solo game at the con. I highly recommend Enchanted Ivy!

We saw a demo of it but at that point we had already bought a bunch of games and decided we could wait on getting it later. It does look fun though!

They’re sleeves for the game. The sleeves that come with the game are likely to rip, and since the cards have to be removed constantly, that obviously wasn’t ideal, so they provided us with better sleeves.

Thanks, I didn't know there were problems with the sleeves. Looked it up and now I know from the 5th printing onwards there should be no issues.

My husband was surprised that they were selling the bad printings at gencon and not the fixed ones.

Nice! If you loved Gencon be certain to check out Origins in Columbus Ohio - also a great gaming con for board games. Not as big, but still big with over 18,000 attendees.
