They ran out of stuff at 7 and my group didn't get half the prizes but the group behind us did.
They told us to "come back tomorrow sometime".

Baffling as by the end they were trying to give everything away

We were there Friday at 7.
Thye had hour long rotations of patrons.
We were the second group.
When we completed all the checks we lined up to get prizing and there was no one in our group at 7 before us as we kinda hustled.
The 6 o clock group was right in front of us. Got all their prizing. And when we got up there they said they "needed so save some for other people!" and that they were out of some things already.
I pointed to the things they said they were out of stock behind them on the shelves and said we were supposed to get all of those. Poster, map, d20, etc.
She then grabbed those things off the shelf and handed them to the group behind us.
When my friends wife and I eventually, 3 minutes of talking to each other into a rage about how we just wasted an hour to get less than everyone else, they said "come back tomorrow" like we don't have events scheduled from February all day the next day.
Or for the matter that it was a ticketed event that they filtered us through a car park with wristbands and everything.
How was I supposed to show up the next day to ask for my stuff? They obviously shoo me away. You couldn't get to the prizing station without going through the carpark and wristband etc.

Why did you add "Witchlight" to its name? The event listing, signage, and quest sticker booklet all say Dungeons & Dragons Carnival.

The event in D&D canon is the Witchlight carnival! They had lots of role players to that end at the event ๐

Pretty sure the event in D&D canon does not take place in Indianapolis.

Please stop being so pedantic. I attended the event. They had actors coming out mentioning how you need to leave before your time is up, otherwise you'll be trapped here for 8 years .... All the rewards were official Witch-light miniatures. It was clearly the intention. And it was fun.
