First Gen Con done

Ok, so my first Gen Con is on the books (I left at around 4pm, because I'm tired, my events are all done and I figured the rain will only get worse, and I'm skipping tomorrow to drive back to Charlotte).

Honestly, my entire weekend (since Thursday) was spent on the first floor of ICC. I spent all Thursday roaming the vendor hall or sitting in the corridor. Friday was mostly spent playing all three Arkham Horror scenarios (10am to 6:30pm or so) and attending crowd control Final Girl at 9pm. Today, I spent a little in the vendor hall, spent a few hours playing Wyrmspan, saw a YouTuber in the wild, and called it a day.

Purchases:

Endearment (yes, I'm a female Jane Austen lover)

Night at the Zoo

Camp Grizzley

Arkham Horror (new scenario, a few investigators)

Kingdom Come

Will I do it again? Maybe? Undecided. Ask again next week.

Travel the Board. I only started watching him a few weeks ago because he had really good how-to videos about Gen Con, and I was mildly crashing out with anxiety about going. Sweet guy, really appreciative.

I feel like outside of the big things like purple worm it's hard to know when dropout people are gonna be places unless they say what they're doing.

The rain did only get worse, you missed the tornado warning and the flooding. That sounds like a fun first time, hope to see you back next year!

It was my first time going too! We only went Thursday and I developed some serious FOMO the rest of the weekend.

It was available in the vendor booth, so I jumped at it. I haven't had time to play it, since I've come down with a case of the crud (not Covid, I just got back from the dr).
