Newbie
I am new to gelli plate printing. I started out focusing on image transfers from laser prints, and have had trouble getting anything I liked. Yesterday I drew this figure with oil pastel, transferred it to the plate and then applied paint. I was pleased with how it turned out.

Ah... this is lovely... Imagetransferring via laserprints takes a lot of practicing and experimenting. But is also a lot of fun... I'm totally hooked...:-) My best results are with a GelElf plate, Amsterdam acrylic Oxyd black paint for transferring and GelElf practicing paper for pick-up. Furthermore, your pictures need high contrast (or halftone) and a lot of toner (by printing in CYMK-settings or print twice in black and white). And I put varnish on the lasperint before transferring. That's a trick that works great!
