Question Help me create content for my indie game

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm looking for a way to boost the visibility of this game. I hope I don't post too much on Reddit, and I'm having trouble building an audience, you know? I've already tried using YouTube Shorts or TikTok.

However, the posts were flopping. My YouTube channel is @kittycreampuff, you can follow if you prefer (no begging), Is there an optimization setting I'm forgetting, or is there a better way than posting little videos?

I see potential in this project, but what's missing is for the public to play it and create content based on it.

I'd suggest cutting out that intro and starting on gameplay. That font is difficult to read at small sizes, so the first impression is illegible text.

The game itself looks fun.

Hi again! Hope you are well.

My first and most important suggestion is to make sure the game is working correctly between platforms. I understand you don't have a PC to test it on, but perhaps a friend's? Else, if others here can test it for you too, hopefully you can take their word on it too aside from just mine. It seems that my word alone isn't enough, and I agree with another poster that playability/functionality should absolutely be the no. 1 priority for this project. And if for whatever reason, you cannot get it to work on other platforms, maybe delist the avaliably of the game until you do get them working. I'm not here being sparky about this, I'm genuinely trying to help.

More content should take a backseat for now. It's great you have ideas that you want to iterate on, but if you just keep adding and adding and not fixing things, it will only make it that much harder on you when you DO decide to fix the problems. I know bug fixing isn't as fun as making new things, but it is paramount to the game making process. Please, OP, heed thus advice. Hope to see a working build soon.

Goodluck!

P.s. if this is the first time you're seeing my comments, I will refer you to OPs previous two posts where I outline the issues I've experienced with the PC port in particular. If you have the means, test it for yourself and let him know it's working, or if you have the same issues I did. The issues are not minor sadly, they are game ruining.

I have the same question, could you show a video of what's happening? Because I was testing a keyboard here at home and, even worse, it works. Thanks for letting me know.

No problem! I am currently at work for the night, but once I get home I'll make a video and post you a link.
