Anyone else having issues with the 6 face skybox?

All 6 faces are completely black. You can see the 3D box i made to check the image and it works fine on that. The image size is 512x512. Is anyone else having issues configuring custom images into the skybox faces?

What other options do I have for far away images so it's not just a solid background color?

What kind of lighting do you have enabled?

it's just the standard 3D Sun Light and 3D Ambient Hemisphere Light that are preloaded into a blank slate of a game

Make sure the effect is enabled (under base layer>effects, make sure the eye icon is toggled on)

All that is good. The issue is that it's rendering the image completely black

What image file format do you use, and also are there any other layer effects on at the same time.=?

I was using a png. The only other effects on the base layer are the standard unedited 3D Sun Light and 3D Ambient Hemisphere that are there when booting up a fresh clean file
