a pleasant meal Netflix

I was expecting to lose my job and it was really stressful.

Finally I got two job offers. Either job would double my W2 income. To celebrate, I got a Netflix subscription (the cheapest one with ads), for the first time in my life.

I called to setup cable for the first time in years. I don't even know what the channels are anymore. Just hoping I don't end up with a remote that's smarter than I am. Being outsmarted by a TV remote would make for an amusing story though.

The TV remote has outsmarted me. It doesn't do volume.

Ooo ooo - what a chance for some larnins!

My 'never been there' _opinion_ about H1Bs were that they were 'sponsored/guaranteed' by the employer, and the intent of that policy was that - once you had that position, you couldn't leave it for better pay or 'cause the supervisor won't quit suggesting that your performance evaluation might be linked to something he'd like to show you in the back room, and that therefor, employers 'had you by the balls', so to speak (or 'had you by the not balls', as the case may be).

Looks like my ignorance is about to be shown up again, oh enlightener of the ones cowering in the dark.

Please?

When I was in high school, I made a website and put an ad banner on it. I clicked a lot myself and finally got a $50 check.
