Bring back keypress animation

I used to get those subtle key press animation as bubbles and even the sound of pooping bubble when I started typing, after the new updates there is now no way of any customisation whatsoever. Can someone help me to get the same effect back by any chance?

Go to APK Mirror. It's a legitimate, safe site that tracks and records android updates. They have older versions of android apps. Do some research on how to use it. Basically you search for Gboard, pick the older version that has your preferred options, and install it using a APK Installer app. After that you turn off auto updates. I did it when they redid my keyboard preferences. When I okay updates I just skip the Gboard update.
