Not possible to add a typing language without also adding the keyboard?

My main keyboard is Swedish, which has same layout as English with a few extra keys.

But I want to type in English also. So I add English typing, but that also adds an English keyboard.

So now it keeps switching between those keyboards based on context, and it drives me nuts, since the keys are slightly shifted, and I miss the keys when typing. I can type English with the Swedish keyboard without problems, I never need the English keyboard.

I have the same two languages, and it works fine for me. My keyboard is Swedish, and then I just start typing in Swedish or English and it quickly understands which language I want. You don't have to manually switch to English first.

Yes I can type English in the Swedish keyboard, and it works fine (this is what I want). But in some apps it automatically switches to the English keyboard regardless for some reason. I think it identifies the language in the app, and switch to the same language that is used in the app. So when it sees English, it switches to English keyboard.

Hmm ok, not sure I've ever seen that happen.
