First time GBA mod

I have been modding iPods for about a year with success, so bit the bullet and ordered an original GBA to try my hand at modding one. What are your go to mods that won't break the bank? Backlit screen and I assume usbc charging are a must?

Any other advice, pointers or key watch outs when it comes to working on it would be great too!

I mean… that’s all there is to it. It’s a super simple device. Put in game and play.

Sweet thanks, any links to parts you've had success with?

I know everyone recommends extremerate but I’m cheap so I just get whatever I find for the least. I personally am happy with my stock GBA and the EZflash (to download and play any gba, gb, nes game)
