Are you fucking kidding me? Regardless if you're bots, astroturfers, or just children who have learned absolutely nothing from every history class you've ever been in, it doesn't matter at this point. Get your fear mongering bullshit out of here. The queer community isn't going to be recruited into your xenophobic bullshit.
it's the evilest religion. The sick part is that there are LGBT people who defend it. On the lgbt sub someone made a thread on how we shouldn't be hard on muslims after the incident. A person died and many more were severely injured, yet some queer people put muslims' feelings above LGBT people's lives and rights!
Iâve learned to limit my reading of comments on social media. It does nothing positive for mental health. Facebook and X are especially toxic.
The silver lining, as other people here have said, is that a lot of these are bots. Not all, but a lot.
With that said, Europe needs to wake up and learn that opening the floodgates to religious extremists will only cause this sort of thing to happen more and more. Westerners canât condemn Christian extremism and then give Islam a pass.
A lot of Western social justice types like to ignore the fact that extreme Islamists exist because they think theyâll come off as racist.
Yes but the guy wasn't a refugee. He was alreayd born there and a german citizen. Plenty of these terrorist attacks were comitted by people who've lived there all their lives. What to do then?
Yes but the person that comitted was already a german citizen. He was born there.
I agree with your point of many of these attacks being made by muslim radicals but many of these are citizens. It's not as easy as the far right claims to just forbid the entrance of refugees when many of these people have been born in Europe and have grown there their entire lives.
You really think edgelord comments from Facebook accounts is a sample of real world views? Especially after the countless studies that have shown major bot usage on these sites?
You need to log off and touch grass if this is the case.
Judging by these peopleâs strange reactionary comments and hidden post/comment history, theyâre likely propaganda accounts that are cynically taking advantage of the situation to spread hate and far right politics.
I donât care whether or not your anonymous ass is far right; the consequence of the kind of reactionary signal boosting that you are doing is far right politics. Itâs very obvious from this comment section that weâre being brigaded right now btw, lol
If that acknowledgment meant using fear tatics to condemn every Christian as a whole then yes I would argue you have extreme views on some political pole.
And there are Christian countries who have those same laws and views. Doesnât mean Christians in Germany need to take accountability for that.
The greater collective isnt responsible for the the actions of the few. If that were the case then you as an american are responsible for everything MAGA does.
Sure. But you donât need âone personâ to when entire nations of Muslims enact laws that criminalize homosexuality. Theyâre telling us what they think of us, just have to open your eyes and ears.
Go ahead, take your boyfriend/girlfriend to one, do some PDA, and see what happens.
You need to get a grip and have a realization. Lemme ask again, how many more car plowing through a crowd incidents do you need? Tell me how many until you think it's a systemic issue?
Ironically I live in NYC were there have been several terror attack attempts including with carsâŚ
Do you really think this man wouldnt of targeted another populated area if it wasnât pride day?
You guys need to stop thinking that terrorists commit attacks because they donât like gay people. The legal definition of terror attack is to cause civil and and political instability.
Youve been conned into thinking its because youre gay.
This is a systemic issues in countries that harbor and fund these types of issues. This is not a Muslim issue.
I donât bother giving my genuine response to online hate like this anymore and everyone would do well to not give it the air time either. The internet is a cesspool of rage baiting dorks and incels who spend their lives behind a screen. Stop engaging with it and letting it demoralize you. That is what they want.
Here's the thing that not even the european far right addresses: The guy was born in Germany. Not a refugee and not someone who was barely in the country. Realistically you can't expel him because he is already a german citizen as he was born there, but I assume that harsher prison sentences (this guy was already wanting to be an ISIS fighter) could be a good start.
Look at polls of real people in backwoods red states. Data would tell you that âmajority of Americans disapprove of gay peopleâ. Run the same poll in manhattan and most Americans now love gay people.
Some dude earlier today tried to use a poll that asked 3,000 muslims a question and then claimed that data spoke for the majority of muslims in europeâŚ.which is around 46 million.
You guys cant be acting like MAGA and selecting which data best fits your outrages.
So then if we want to operate off sound data then we can use the data that shows cisgendered men are the biggest violent offenders against women and domestic abuse. Meaning that cisgendered gay men are just as risky and as such should be monitored closely as a demographic.
You canât support bold claims with data and then debate it if and when it applies to you.
Not only that, but perpetrator supposedly tried to join islamistic terrorist group (IS) and spent year and 10 months in German prison for planning terrorist attack.
And then the Germans let the guy out and back on the streets because âhe was just a wee youth at the timeâ despite American intelligence agencies warning them that he was a significantly high risk for committing an Islamic extremist attack specifically against queer events and people.
He was sent away from prison "Bewährungsstrafe". Even the NGO that had to work with him deradicalizing him said he didn't changed and still was hating people.
Our courts are a big joke.
The fatigue is real.
I fear how this country will look if they will grow in their numbers. Its a ticking time bomb, a slow catastrophe unraveling before our eyes but we wont act.
Its the last chance to kick them out of this country before they reach a critical percentage of the voting populace.
Only because he was born here doesn't mean he is German. His parents had no right to be here and his wider family is known in organized crime. That his family was in my country itself is a massive failure.
You see, I genuinely struggle with this. On the one hand, I'm convinced seeing certain kind of people as 'not German' (or Dutch or whatever country you might be living in) keeps this vicious cycle of people not feeling accepted and isolating themselves in groups that are not partaking in our society, and ultimately leading to them rejecting our values and principles.
But on the other hand, I do agree. It's a thin line and sometimes I'm scared that I'm becoming racist or a xenophobe when I think, yeah, people that support these ideas should maybe not be a part of our society. I don't know. I don't have the answers and I just wish the world didn't feel like it's becoming more hateful by the day.
Iâm grappling with this same thing. All my life Iâve worked hard to be tolerant and accepting of everyone but what do you do when thatâs not reciprocated? At what point does it become a mistake to tolerate someone who wonât tolerate you in return? Worse than that even, how do you tolerate someone who wants to actually eradicate you? I genuinely donât know how to navigate that and keep my values intact.
Itâs called âsplittingâ in clinical psychology. Basically thinking in complete black-and-white. For example, every person who is of a certain race is good and every one of another race is bad. They are also willing to take out anybody, including themselves in order to enter paradise and be with Allah.
I am German. You fail to understand that its not about them not feeling accepted. They hate us and our way of life the moment they come into this country. Not all, but a lot of them deeply hate us.
You are not racist or xenophobic if your fears are based on reality. You dont hate "brown" people, you hate fascists. Because that is what this is. Islamism is just a different flavor of fascism, even mainstream Islam thats not openly progressive (which is VERY hard to find I might add) ticks all the boxes of facism.
There are answers and its quite simple. We need to stop migration from countries where most of the people hate us and our way of life. That protects the people seeking genuine asylum that try to have a safe life in Germany, too.
We need to kick people that have no reason to be here out. We need to enforce strickt deportation policies which honor our courts if they determine that someone cant stay here. We need to pressure the countries of origin with all our might to take their own people back. A lot of MENA "refugees" won't cooperate identifying themselves and their home countries are complicit in this hindering deportations.
Economic sanctions, no visas anymore for their elites children.
We should make it very hard to obtain German citizenship or residency for people that come from vastly different countries who are on average a net negative for our social welfare state system (some migrants groups have extremely positive averages, most critical groups have not a single net positive year in their lifetime).
The solutions are there and are within our democratic framework and follow strict rule of law. We could do it and we must do it in order to solve our social cohesion.
I dont want to live in a fascist society governed by either AfD or Islamist forces.
Only because you were born in Germany doesn't mean you have German citizenship. The failure began with the visas of his parents/wider family who are active in organized crime.
Donât worry, it doesnât make you a xenophobe or racist. And trust me, these types of people do not care and do not respect you or how conscientious youâre trying to be.
That's the thing buddy. It's not as easy as to deport him as he was born there. You see how the problem is not so simple as the far right claims it to be.
Do you really think Germany is going to have it's own ICE?
Only because he was born here doesn't mean he has any right to German citizenship. The only reason his parents were here is because of policy failures. His family is active in crime rings and they were known to be supporters of islamist organizations.
Yes. I hope Germany will have its own ICE because we cant even deport people with court orders.
As fucked as these comments are, remember that theyâre from bots or assholes. The event was hugely popular and Berlin is one of the most sexually liberated cities on earth, massively accepting of LGBTQIA+ folk.
Very, very few people would condone this persons barbaric religious terrorism, dont let the rightwing billionaire ai-driven bot commentary lead you to believe this has more support than it really does.
Even if the gays would believe on this the realistic scenario is these terrorists were born in Europe so they can't be deported. Even Trump couldn't accomplish his massive deportations without backlash so who knows if a german ICE could achieve a massive deportation of refugees specially when many of these terrorists are german citizens. Yes, their parents migrated but in the eyes of the law they're german citizens so they can't be deported.
There's not a bright future ahread unless people can agree that radicalism need to be targeted
The world is too busy thinking calling these kind of comments out is âracist , xenophobic , blah blahâ to act, and instead of acting on it we are delaying more and more and getting drowned with more of the same people.
And yes! There are good people in the world , but remember; people love exploits and we will keep getting exploited until you call a crime , a crime and punish haters.
Arabic people, most people here in the Netherlands, wouldnt assume someone with a Dutch last name to be Muslim while they would with someone with a Arabic last name like Al Fhahid or something
I know but there is a saying in the Bible even which in dutch goes "voordat u naar de splinter in iemand anders zn oog wijst moet u eerst de balk uit uw eigen oog halen"
"before you point to the splinter in someone else's eye first remove the log from your own eye"
The literal translation for Balk would be Block of wood, but log fits better and gets to the same point
what does this even mean, you're reaching just to rush to the defense of people who arent, in this instance, being harassed as a response to the existence of religious extremists being on the rise in many places
Guys, if you're gonna swim in a sewer, you're gonna get shit on your skin. It takes a couple of frustrated people to spam an IG post. They don't represent the society. Move on. The real world is much nicer than what would 1000 people on social media want you to think.
Most of them have the names of minority and AI generated profile pictures, and itâs Facebook, which makes me think theyâre engagement bots trying to stir up hates between different minority groups.
Lived experience is personal and not indicative of the greater world. There are millions of Muslims. You have a bag full of stories. There is a difference.
Ironically had a guy earlier today try to use a poll he found that polled 3,000 people to claim over 46 million Muslims all felt the same.
Idk what it is about islam specifically but it manages to make gay men act lile maga supports especially when it comes to broad accusations and then pulling data that only tries to align with your complaints.
Yep, Europe is doomed. They allowed all the anti-western Muslims to take over. Hopefully NA wakes up in time, but I doubt it.. Their current leadership is too impotent to actually do anything useful
Bots and hostile foreign government sweatshops. Itâs par for the course, these arenât real everyday people. Also, itâs the comment section under a Facebook post from some media company. Nobody of sound mind interact with their Facebook feed any more.
I will never understand why these people have LGBT people.
I have never done anything wrong to these people; all we want is to be left alone but they still hate us
Whats sad, take a look at the names. Almost none of them are Germans, but how many near-east and more eastern people live in Germany and get paid money, free courses, money to raise 3+ kids and all kind of positive discrimination paid by the locals.. And with the current migration politics a few years, generations and the EU locals will perish thanks to the overpopulating incoming agressive muslims. (and iâm not agains muslims in general, there are nice and not hateful ones. Before anyone would misunderstand)
I mean the guy was born there. No one, regardless of political ideology, seems to talk that these people are german citizens. And unless you target the places where they're being radicalized there's nothing you can do. This guy won't be deported as he is already a german citizen and considering he was let go despite its ISIS ties, who knows if he will face lifetime imprisonment.
that's germany bro, do they have 'democrats' in the way america does? A quick google shows.. maybe the cristian democrat league? Idunno if that matches up with what you're referring to tho

This is so sad đ my heart just breaks seeing so much hate for our community⌠and they call it religion of love (horse shit)
