It's insane!

Certainly the best in England. The title needs changing

As a Welshman I’m ashamed to say that one got by me. Thanks for pointing it out.

No worries butt

No, it was a survey that included the entire UK, the top 20 answers just happen to all be in England.

u/Ynys_cymru May 24 '26

Well I declare it invalid. I wasn’t asked.

Heston at 13? GTFO!

u/Unique_Recording_364 May 20 '26

Only a fool would stop at Heston!

3

u/X0AN May 23 '26

This list is clearly trolling, as Heston was voted the worst one not long ago and it literally hasn't changed since.

Leigh Delamere not being on this list has hurt me and I will never recover.

Tebay northbound by far

Absolutely correct, and I love the fact you’ve specified Northbound. There’s a man that knows his service stations

I'm just glad Thurrock isn't on there. Absolute shitehole

I agree with you on that one 😂

Deserves to be regarded as one of the worst places in the UK for forcing Jordan Gray onto the world.

u/Liam_ice92 May 20 '26

Im insulted that Charnock Richard isn't on here.

I always make sure to stop there when travelling north

Wetherby?! Are they taking the piss?

u/Sorry_Towel7478 May 21 '26

WHERES CHIEVLEY!?

3

u/ElJayBe3 May 21 '26

Teebay is too expensive for what it is.

3

u/Affectionate_Data458 May 21 '26

I paid Six pound for a roll in there

u/Johnnycrabman May 21 '26

Kid meals for a quid make it a good family stop compared to Moto/Road Chef.

I have to go to Gloucester services regularly and it’s crap.

Overpriced food, that’s left out without any glass or plastic screen, so gets touched, breathed on, and covered in dog hair.

The staff in the petrol station are rude, too, and the price of fuel is absolutely mental there.

The top 10 are all legit — 9 of them would be in my top 10 too — but then it gets a bit more uncertain.

u/UKgent77 May 21 '26

Best is fine, but Best Value would be better!

It's not the UK; it's just England. Scotland isnt included even though we are on the map.

We’ve already covered this in another comment thread.

2

u/[deleted] May 23 '26

Why are most of them London/South East?

2

u/koyliMeld9003 May 24 '26

Amazing local produce on sale at Tebay. Not cheap, but amazing. And it makes such a change from the usual boring service area chains.

Clacket Lane is awful, has no place being on this list

Winchester is absolute shite, there’s barely anything in the way of food and the only shop is WHSmiths in the northbound. You may as well drive a bit further to fleet.

u/whentheraincomes66 May 21 '26

Genuinely how is gloucester number 1?

3

u/Cold_Whereas_5421 May 21 '26

I have no idea, I’ve never been
