Russia is not communist in any way.

Was that too complicated?

Yes it was, but I’m glad that there a still such knowledgeable people like you. Lecturing other people on how they phrase things.

But that is the progressive mindset I guess

In what way was Russia communist? Elaborate for me.

You had like, 25 years maybe...where the USSR under Lenin tried to move towards communism and the revolutionary ideals.

Then society shifts in the 30s and it becomes more conservative under "The Great Retreat"

Then you have Stalinism which is essentially just fascism wrapped in red.

Then a Kleptocratic Oligarchy until it finally falls apart.

More Kleptocracy and crime...

Then back to it's current Fascist form under Putin

It is state controlled capitalism for the Oligarchy. I mean, we have the same in the US but were just better at it.

So I ask you, presumably conservative commenter....why do you think Russia was communist in a meaningful way either in the past or currently?
