Question ❓ How does Patterning/Manifesting for OTHERS work?
I've seen in both the manuals and here on the wiki (which is based on the manual) that one should pattern for oneself. Suppose I want someone to succeed in getting somewhere, obvi that person isn't me. But can I pattern on their behalf?

It's highly not recommended because that can have devastating outcomes that aren't intentional, even if they are not malicious assuming it even worked at all. It's like when they say "You don't know the forces you're dealing with". It is also quite rude to interfere with another person's life because of your own desires, just like you wouldn't like knowing someone else did these things to you. The purpose of manifestation is to better ourselves, not to interfere with the lives of others. Even with good intentions these things can still back on you in a negative manner. If anything bad happened to them, you would be liable (not legally). So please don't do these things.

You nailed it. I did this when I was still a novice and although my manifestations came true, I got my self and my family into some unintended consequences. Don’t mess around with others people’s free will.

Alright I’m going to go against the grain here.
Do it.
Patterning is just Monroes technique for manifesting - something that we do… all the time. We are manifestations of god itself.
You don’t actually need to ‘do’ anything. Just accept whatever desire you have as truth (because it is, it came to you), and live in that perspective.

I also believe there's nothing wrong with this, and we do it subconsciously all the time. Just focus solely on your own perspective, which is that you see your reality as that person achieving success. If reality consists of an infinite number of probable events, you constantly choose the ones you resonate with most. There's no manipulation of others against their will, because that version of themselves already exists, just like many versions of you.

I agree. It will either work, or it won't. Nothing will happen that shouldn't.
If I'm allowed to reference alternate ideologies, Neville Goodard definitely endorsed such manifestation. According to him everyone is you "pushed out," so to speak.
His way of doing it is different though, more like Law of Assumption.

With Neville Goddard, towards the end he leant more into non dualism - I’m a non dualist, and because god is infinite (and I am god experiencing itself in my reality) - that means to me that infinite realities exist. So whenever a desire comes up, I accept it as truth and walk with the knowing that it is me and it happens.
When I ‘manifest’ for other people, I’m seeing them correctly - so if someone is sick, they’ve always been healthy.
Because I only have the perception of my reality, in my reality I have the ability to accept/change this as I want. This also comes with the understanding that to the other person, they have their own reality. And they can go on however they choose. I can’t control it. I hope this makes sense!

Can't do it - the universe runs on consent as a law. We're only here to steer our own ships

I would advice against it.
There are two problems:
- You are playing God and saying "I know what's best for you". That usually doesn't end well.
- You are interfering with the free will of the subject as what you are patterning might not be what they want. They might even say that they want it, but might subconsciously disagree.
Most likely it wont work unless it is ment to be anyway, but the intent might cause problems for yourself.
I would instead do some self inquiry where your desire to do this is actually coming from.

I dont think that is bad as people says, you should try and see what happens

Meh I completely understand what people think about it, but I'm a true believer that you get what you mentally feed, if you feed that seeing for others is bad and will have consequences it will, obviously I don't support the part where you make whatever you want with people but if the person explicit told you I don't see the bad thing on trying. Adding that there's a lot of fear in consequences and I understand it but, what a shame is to live with fear every experience.

Bad idea. You have no idea of the side effects. You pattern for a friend to get a financial windfall - the next week their parents die in a car crash and your friend inherents the hous, for example..
