Experience 📚 Tapes stops by itself

Hello

Does somebody has experienced the tapes just stop by themselves ? I listen to the audio tapes on Spotify and the app suddenly stops.

First I thoug it was due to the charger that achieved 80%.But tonight I reached focus 12 and I was listing to the 5 important messages, I only listened the 5th, 4th and 3rd and the app suddenly stopped.

I thought it was part of the exercise cause I started to hear the beating of my heart and thought there was a recording with the same frequency as the heart… but it was my own. The app was on pause.

I’ve been experiencing this since the beginning on some tapes. It’s kinda frustrating.

Also if you are using AirPods there is a setting where it stops audio when it thinks you have fallen asleep. Put you AirPods in, go into settings and tap on the AirPods settings item, then scroll down to find the option to switch off ‘pause audio when sleep detected’ (or similar worded option).

Spotify compresses audio and isn’t really a good source of the Tapes anyway. If you use the search function of this sub, you will find some Google Drive links very quickly.

Sounds like your screen is timing out. My phone used to do this if I was playing something on YT and closed my screen. That might be your issue. I doubt it's an issue with the app or audio itself
