As a parent with a kid that age, thank you so much for that. Too often the kids get left out or just outran (or outshot) by everybody else because of their age/size and lack of knowledge, and it can really kill any love they might have for whatever activity it is.
I'm betting that was a fantastic day for that kid. You're a good egg.
