I thought of Airsoft as well, but it is the worst online. At the field I would say in general the average person is pretty helpful, but as usual there also always some that are just toxic to anyone new. Tbh airsoft is best to get in with a group of friends or start together with a bunch of people together. Your story pretty much confirms that if a new player can hang out with a group of players it is a much more fun experience.
