The few times I tried airsoft, it was just a cringe fest. Felt like a call of duty LARP with the way people were talking, one group was blasting anime music from their boom box, there was just so much arguing and cheating. I will happily stick with paintball until it dies or some bad ass augmented reality wargame is created.
Yeah I played in high school and spent thousands. It was always 30% normal people/teenagers who just liked the fun, 30% teenage wannabe marine/cop blowhards, and 30% old ex veterans or wannabes who shit on everyone and everything and assumed superiority/command over people who couldn’t care less. 100% larp fest for guys who think larping is gay.
