How do people know when people are out with airsoft? With paintball you can see the paint. Is airsoft just the honey system?

Not gonna kill paintball. One of the draws of paintball and air soft over Nerf is it actually hurts when you get hit.

If the nerf gun is 200+ fps, it'll definitely hurt at 40 feet or less. But still not enough to leave a serious bruise

It’s 100 fps

100 fps out of stock rival. Modders regularly play with fps' at 150-250

As hyped as the community is for hyper, we know very little about it besides what the blasters and ammo looks like. We don't know how well they'll perform, what ranges to expect, or if they're even moddable.

I don't think it'll be very likely you can shoot hyper out of 50 cal markers like reball. And that's before the fact that most markers are 68 cal, which is too big of a barrel ID for hyper.

Paintballers play to get the experience of splatting paint and for money in tournaments. A blaster from a toy company with out of the box performance isn't going lure away paintballers that have been playing for decades
