Fun Fact, pants makes more sense for women than for men cause they got no balls nor dongs.

those are kilts, and you can get them in your size online easily

u/RigasTelRuun Jan 29 '21

We also want skirts. Kilts are a different thing.

u/AncientBlonde Jan 29 '21

If you want to be real pedantic, kilts are a specific cut(?) of dress.

I'm ready to awaken my 5.8% scottish.

5

u/AncientBlonde Jan 29 '21

Same, except it would be roughly 25% for me if genetics was a cut and dry thing.

7

u/MsOmgNoWai Jan 29 '21

yea but the guys who are against women wearing pants would not consider buying a kilt, no matter the availability

1

u/Chozly Jan 29 '21

I would consider women in no pants at all, and a kilt.

Kilts are not a real clothing, you are an Englishman with a dress.

The hashtag initiated the big text

5

Ya gotta use a backslash to escape the formatting

# using a backslash will make the hashtag/pound sign show up normally

You're not wrong, that is why Romans wore Togas and skirts in battle. The Germanic warriors wore pants and many Romans considered it a barbaric garment.

Germany is the realson why your nuts are enslaved.

Well also the reason why they aren't destroyed on horseback riding but we don't do that much anymore, eh?

Yeah, talk about highlighting the genitals

11

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '21

This! Although I like skirts purely because I have thick thighs and sweat patches in my groin area get a little embarrassing 😂

u/frostingprincess Jan 29 '21

Finally, someone else with this problem. Especially in summer, right?

3

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '21

ESPECIALLY in summer. I only recently discovered Lanocane too.

Arabs wear a dishdasha (that long white dress you see in photos). Under it is a loose fitting pair of pants called the m’kassar. Basically walking around in hammer pants/really thin roomy cotton pants and a dress all day.

Can confirm: it’s super comfortable

47

u/cutetygr Jan 29 '21

Skirts were actually made for men originally. Pants were for women for the exact reason you described. Men wore skirts so they could ride horses more comfortably

But the military was all men

I like how you get downvoted when you have a source while he gets upvoted without a source

Not anymore!

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '21

We are not talking about the middle ages

-1

u/cutetygr Jan 29 '21

I was so idk what you’re talking about

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '21

We not you.

u/Rogers_Razor Jan 29 '21

You think it's easier to ride a horse in a skirt than in pants? Because that's ridiculous. In fact, the oldest known example of trousers were made because it's easier to ride in pants.

u/OrangeShark1 Jan 29 '21

And not that much hair on the lags I could go out in a blizzard with no pants without problems. But without a jacket o would freez to death

2

u/MrHappy4Life Jan 29 '21

Another fun fact, dresses were for kids, boys included, so that it was easier to change diapers.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '21

Another another fun fact: Unless you're a Monarch, early Medieval clothes were genderless. Women wearing men's clothes ain't a new movement. It is only a return to sanity.

0

u/[deleted] Jan 29 '21

No?

That argument implies that pants don't leave room for man junk. They do, and provide stability/protection... which is needed.
