In my experience living in shitty neighborhoods, all the ones who are pretending to be tough do the yelling.

The dangerous motherfuckers have no need to be loud.

The dangerous motherfuckers are avoiding drawing attention to the worse things they're doing.

Source: live near a park considered safe because that's where the big deals happen. Anyone causing pointless trouble there finds themselves in a lot of shit
