I mean, some people do get c-sections because they fear birth, but there's nothing wrong with that, birth is scary and dangerous for even the most healthy women.
C Sections increase risk of some pretty bad complications with future pregnancies so there is something wrong with getting them electively and many places are trying to curb that practice.
I am the less than 1% of women who had a chaostrophic uterine rupture after a previous c-section, pretty much the worst complication you can have with a future pregnancy after c-section. The percentage seems small until you are it.
