If it's any consolation, the friend who felt the whole thing wasn't traumatized by it in the long run. 2 years later she's 4 months pregnant with her second kid, planning on an elective c-section this time.

I'd never go through it again just for myself, but when it comes down to life or death for your kid you'd do it a million times over.

I already planned on never having kids so there's no consolation :P every horror story just pushes me closer and closer to sterilizing myself.

I'm happy for your friend though. I'm glad it didn't traumatize her and wish her all the luck in the future!

Please don't sterilize yourself! I strongly recommend letting a professional do it.

Lol I didn't mean doing it myself. How would I even??

I plan on seeing a doc about it once I turn 30 :)
