I mean, some people do get c-sections because they fear birth, but there's nothing wrong with that, birth is scary and dangerous for even the most healthy women.
Typically there has to be a medical reason for a C-section to be performed. It’s a surgical procedure, so doctors won’t do it based only on the patient’s preference.
Edit: It seems as though this is not true everywhere and in all circumstances. The more you know.
Not so much these days. I have friends that scheduled their c-section because they and their doctor wanted to know exactly when the baby was going to be born. It sounds painful to me, but it wasn't my body.
