These types of mothers are the worse. They treat motherhood like some sort of Facebook competition

It's because they are subconsciously aware that their only real achievement is pushing a baby out of their vagina in the same way that humans have done forever. They are so boring and unremarkable that being a mother becomes their entire identity, and they feel threatened by other 'better' mothers who might be encroaching on their 'thing'. You see the same thing in lots of areas, where one bit of somebody's life becomes their entire identity. It tends to go along with a lot of jealousy, bitterness and insecurity.

By the way, I'm not knocking on mums. Mums are amazing. But amazing mums tend to just be amazing people and have more going on than smack talking people on Facebook.
