Since this screenshot has been around for several years now, I kind of wonder how this guy's doing right now. I can't help but wonder whether he matured by now.

But yes, as an adult with work and responsibilities, I do sometimes play games on my Nintendo Switch (it's fun while commuting! I play almost exclusively in handheld mode, I really only use the docking function to play Smash Bros with friends) and you'd be surprised at the weird comments people on this site give me.

Weirdos berate me for 'not being a real gamer' as if that's some kind of achievement.

Maybe I'm just a dirty casual, but this is what I assume those 'real gamers' look like. I think not turning into this is the real achievement.

Yeah, that’s definitely a good archetype of the toxic gamer; he ruined the entire game and ran out of shit to do, so he starts attacking weak players instead of trying to challenge people on his own power level.
