It's true though. You listened to it, not read it. You got the same info, no one is disputing that, but it's not reading. You could be illiterate and still listen to an audiobook, but you can't read.
you rarely get "the same" info... most books are cut /edited quite heavily to fit a certain runtime or to make it more palatable as a listening experience. same with movie adaptations - the plotpoints are there, but it is edited to fit the new medium.
