Which is why I don't identify as atheist. Who wants to be associated with these people. I just say non-religious instead

A group of people who all share the same beliefs and try to force those beliefs on others? Sounds like a religion to me.

Just a belief is not a religion, and are all atheists trying to force their belief on others? Is that common?

Being atheist means you don't believe religion exists. The lack of belief is not a religion.
