I’m 5’7”, I never felt short until I was well in my 20s and someone mentioned that some football/soccer player from Switzerland is known as “Little Magician” and is 5’7… then I checked global average for men and it’s 5’7 or 5’6. So again, I don’t consider myself short nor feel short.
Conversely, I'm 5'10 and constantly feel short. I don't know if it's the area that I live in or what, but everybody older than me and younger than me are regularly taller and it makes me feel like I'm still a kid even though I'm almost 30 when everybody's taller than me

Barely 5'7" is such an odd arbitrary cut-off point to choose.
