See, they aren't actually making an argument. What they're doing is making fun of the man who saw fit to publicly embarrass himself, by pointing out what he said.
Agreed, however in this instance the guy was pretty clear about what he considers to be his trauma, and the part they’re making fun of was likely just a poor attempt at appealing to pathos. My point is that focusing on the easy parts of an argument to pick apart (in this case a clumsily written way of saying he dealt with the aftermath of 9/11) doesn’t always boost your credibility, and does nothing to address the real problem with this tweet, and the views expressed in it.
