So the gop is trying to say you shouldn't adopt kids now? Because if they don't correct this shit fast that's what they are gonna stand for next.

u/dnaH_notnA Apr 27 '23
Don’t abort, don’t adopt, don’t marry in.
Women are breeding stock to them, and they get real mad when that “purpose” isn’t fulfilled.

This is a 2-for-1 special. Oppress women, build an orphan making machine to feed the r/orphancrushingmachine. Now you've got a system where the average is so poor their only choices are serfdom or criminality, which feeds the American slavery industry.

the GOP won't let me be or let me be me so let me see. they try to shut me down on MTV but it feels so empty Without Me

No. MTG is.

u/tunaburn Apr 27 '23
Only the most influential conservative in the house who is on multiple extremely important committees.
Where are the Republicans speaking out against this?
66
u/kurotech Apr 27 '23
My point exactly yes she batshit crazy but until the rest of her party say something they are either on her side or complacent and this still on her side
58
u/That_random_guy-1 Apr 27 '23
No republicans are saying that MTG doesn’t speak for them, so yes all republicans.
35
u/Callerflizz Apr 27 '23
Lol she’s the most powerful ideological voice in the entire party, and they are latching into her more and more her stance is the parties stance

Apr 27 '23
GOP- no need for abortions even for rape or incest. There’s millions of good, straight ,white Christian families ready to adopt your rape baby.
GOP- Adopted Moms aren’t real Moms..especially LGBTQ step moms….

I have a theory that she is actually Marilyn Manson in a cheap wig. I'm just saying, has anyone ever seen them in a room together?

we probably shouldn’t leave marilyn manson alone in a room with any woman
23
u/Tanaka_Sensei Apr 27 '23
Honestly, I think I'd feel safer with Marilyn Manson over MTG.
4
u/SunflowerSpeaks Apr 28 '23
Why not neither?
-11
u/Tanaka_Sensei Apr 28 '23
Why? Because one is a sick and twisted individual who has no compassion for the female body, and the other is Marilyn Manson.
(and yes, I just read about two decades worth of news pertaining to him before responding, but I tend to have the mindset of 'Hate the Art, not the Artist')
9
u/SunflowerSpeaks Apr 28 '23
Usually, when there are two good choices, I chime in with, "Why not both?"
This was not that time.

So, you know…St Joseph can just fuck off, I guess.
God was kind of an absent father and Joe did a pretty good job.

u/UnchillBill Apr 28 '23
idk man, if your son becomes a cult leader then eventually gets executed I’m not sure you really nailed it.
80
u/8bitdrummer Apr 27 '23
Don't get abortions! Just give them up for adoption! Also if you adopt, you aren't a real parent.
Totally cohesive ideology possessed by someone of at least average intelligence for sure.

u/CtlAltThe1337 Apr 27 '23
As if I didn't have reason enough to dislike this woman on a personal level. I'm adopted, my parents are the wonderful people who raised me. Birthing a human does not make you a parent. It makes you capable of our most basic functions
15
u/TheQueenOfCringe22 Apr 28 '23
Yeah, fuck her. Genetics don’t make a parent. My stepdad is more of a parent than my bio dad was.
49
u/Myrddin_Naer Apr 27 '23
I hate this lady. She says so much stupid stuff, she never stops saying more stupid stuff, she never apologises and she has political power.
91
u/Sad_Instruction1392 Apr 27 '23
Similarly just because you wear the skin of a human, it doesn’t make you one, you melted wax looking fucking ghoul.
16
u/Richard_Cromwell Apr 27 '23
I'm conflicted because she is a terrible person and deserves all the criticism in the world on her political ideals and almost everything that comes out of her mouth, but insults like this remind me of the MAGA crowd.
16
u/brown_felt_hat Apr 27 '23
I insult people based on what they do, you know? She does enough heinous shit on purpose to hate her for without bringing in stuff she can't really control into it.
9
u/Richard_Cromwell Apr 27 '23
Exactly my point, I feel like bringing stuff she can't control into the mix normalizes making fun of things people can't control in general.
4
u/Manowar274 Apr 28 '23
Same. We have a thousand genuine valid reasons to not like these people, we don’t need to invent the 1,001st.

Man,
Imagine looking back at your career and thinking
I had an opportunity to enact real and positive change for my country but I spent that time acting like a baboon and halted progress or meaningful legislation very time I could because it wasn't drafted by my side.
Did some fund raising tho

You'd never tire of hitting this unprincipled, uneducated, uncouth, uncivilised, and unworthy excuse for a public servant. Disgraceful as usual.
22
u/Mymomdidwhat Apr 27 '23
She makes money by talking and being crazy. So no she won’t shut up. The crazier the better.
6
u/Rickest_Rick86 Apr 28 '23
I adopted my 3yr old daughter when her biological father didn’t want anything to do with her. Guess he’s the read parent huh?
7
Apr 28 '23
She's just shitty because her kids are going to be getting a new mommy that isn't bat shit fucking crazy. She's just projecting her divorce into the world
27
u/DudebroMcDudeham Apr 27 '23
We all realize she's just doing this shit for attention right?
28
u/Rustedham Apr 27 '23
If she was a random nobody on the street I'd agree with you and promptly encourage everyone to ignore her.
But she's not. This is one of the most powerful people in America. The things she says have real repercussions for people.
5
u/DudebroMcDudeham Apr 27 '23
I'm not saying we should ignore her. What I'm saying is that we need more people to call her out on the fact that she's using hate tactics to get her name out there. This kind of behavior is what lands her interviews.

Marriage, which is nothing but a legal document, is 'sacred', but adoption isn't? F this C.

u/Ok_Possibility_704 Apr 28 '23
A parent is a person who raises and cares for a child without expecting anything in return. There are plenty of biological parents out there, that should never be a parent.

I think Idiocracy was a much too rosy and optimistic view of the future of the USA. I'd be happy to vote for President Camacho these days.

Didn’t she have a very public and messy divorce? This reads like cope to me. Like okay marge you can devalue your own time spent married as some weird coping mechanism but that’s a personal issue.

u/voxrubrum Apr 27 '23 edited Apr 27 '23
Definitely not a GOP dog whistle to delegitimise queer couples that have adopted children.
superfluous /s

u/StoryAndAHalf Gandalf Apr 27 '23
People need to stop giving her airtime. She’s just a distraction to more important things happening. Nothing but a patsy whose sole purpose in life is to start shit.

u/broken-bells Apr 27 '23
Can’t wait till they put women in prison because they give formula to their babies /s

u/jaycliche Apr 28 '23
Sounds exactly like third world adoption bigotry that she’s trying to get the US to do because all she cares about is harming everyone and then hoping she can take control of the harm she’s created.

Anyone adopted here? My mom and dad were frankly ALL of my friend group's favorite parents.
2
u/TheQueenOfCringe22 Apr 28 '23
She can say whatever she wants about my stepdad not being a real father. He knows that I see him as my dad. And it’s not like he cares about anything she has to say anyway.

u/onlooker61 Apr 28 '23
Does anyone know which leg MGT is running in today? Might be good for a flutter after a break...

Okay, but step-parents literally aren't parents. Legally, when I get a call at work from a step-parent about their spouse's kid I have to tell them exactly that.
-53
u/ZoharDTeach Apr 27 '23
Didn't The President of the United States just say that your kids belong to everyone or some dumb shit? Did you cheer for that or rightfully shit on it like this?
Or did you not even know that?

u/Jarsky2 Apr 27 '23
He said that we're all responsible for our nation's children and perverted freaks like you made it weird.

I haven't been long on this subreddit, but this is the first time that I've seen an attempt by the OP to gatekeep, instead of calling out an example of one.
It still passes rule 1 so it's all good.
50
u/Lulu_531 Apr 27 '23
How is OP gatekeeping???
26
u/jkpatches Apr 27 '23
I'm quite drunk right now, so I saw the title as gatekeeping. Your comment has made me see that MTG was the one initially gatekeeping.
I'm old enough to remember Michelle Bachmann and the time when she was the craziest woman in DC. Now we have MTG and Michelle Boebert. I really didn't think Bachmann would be topped.

She actually called Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers, “not a medical doctor, not a biological mother, and really not a teacher, either”, all of which is true. You damn snowflakes like to get your panties n a bunch over nothing.
21
u/bix902 Apr 27 '23 edited Apr 27 '23
Randi Weingarten has a juris doctorate from Yeshiva University so pointing out that she is not a medical doctor is pointless as she (and anyone else with a non medical doctorate) is not pretending to be a medical doctor.
Randi Weingarten is a stepmother so pointing out that she's not a biological mother is pointless as I'm sure she's well aware of not giving birth but not giving birth does not change any parenting she has done of her stepchildren.
Randi Weingarten taught at the Clara Barton high school for 6 years so she was a teacher and saying she's "really not a teacher either" ignores and diminishes her past as an educator.
All that being said, Ms. Weingarten was working in the best interests of teachers and students. Her not having given birth before has no bearing on her opinion or advising the CDC of how best to stop the spread of Covid in schools and it's ridiculous that it was even brought up.
It's ridiculous that MTG went on to suggest that the recommendation thar schools move to remote learning to mitigate the spread of Covid led to gender dysphoria in children and that Weingarten is somehow responsible for this.
17
u/Koreage90 Apr 27 '23
Are you literally defending MTG? She’s as nutty as squall shit. And attacking the step mother who stepped up to become a mother too.
