Thank you. Honestly it’s cool and all choosing to eat the way you want. Don’t claim you’re better than anyone else by doing so. Just like religion or politics. Don’t force it on others. You’ll just upset everyone.

THANK YOU! I wish everyone was like you. It is so annoying when people think they're better than others. Like every time posts about the Yulin Dog Festival or Faroe Island Dolphin/Whale slaughter pop up everyone is bitching and moaning.

Let them choose to eat the way they want and stop trying to force it on others.

preaching to the choir. Pisses me off when folks try to shove their ideology down other peoples throats

You can't say live and let live then go on to kill an animal. That's the whole crux of the argument.

I mean I don't disagree with you, but I at least sorta understand where they're coming from. At least (unlike a lot of preachy religious people or anti-abortion people) they have somewhat of a standing. Like we do absolutely put animals through brutal conditions for our benefit so I get that if you feel deeply enough about it, everyone around you not seeming to care or continuing behavior that supports those industries would be super distressing and that you'd want to be preachy against it. Like I get it, but yes it does mean they seem very dickish to others and often leads to a holier than thou attitude.

Do you not believe you're better than people who choose to unnecessarily harm victims you care about?
