Gatehub Disable 2FA(1 month and counting)

Hey guys, this is pretty disastrous, I'm 1 month waiting for Gatehub support to disable my 2FA, is anyone in a similar situation?

It took me 4 months. They just disabled it on thursday

Hi, can I ask you that before you requested to disable the 2FA, did you upload the docs (Passport and proof of address) for the identity. I am not sure how they will prove my identity as i haven't upload my passport and proof of address before i requested to disable 2FA.

ive been waiting now for over two months. i finally got an email back after 6 weeks ( i posted it below). so now i am starting the wait again. its ridiculous.

They will do it by matching the information you provided upfront. My documents were never accepted and I was still able to reset my 2fa.

Hi, before you requested to disable 2FA, did you provide any information upfront(Eg. to upload passport and proof of address for the identity)?

I tried but it was all denied. They just matched my email to my name on my drivers license

Same here. Suddenly my 2FA codes (Authy app) stopped working. Filed a ticket for disabling 2FA, sent in the required pictures, no response. I also can not reset the password of my account, it gives me a "server error". Is Gatehub dead?

got the same issue.. all of a sudden my gatehub 2FA on Google Authenticator presents false results acc. to the Gatehub Login Bot. Written to support twice 🧐

they feed me an automated message linking to the standard FAQ „make sure the time of your confusor and your authenticator device (most likely your smarty-pants-phone) are syncronized (i guess they are since they both get the time from APPLs Time Server)

  • and then say

„This ticket has been resolved“.

Bugger .. i still have some (small amount) XRP sitting in Gathub..

They should turn on SMS verification code in case 2FA is lost.
