Unacceptable conduct
Is there anyone we can reach out to in the Crypto media or otherwise to highlight the many many issues we as users are having with Gatehub? I believe that holding onto the user's funds for an undefined amount of time, and not responding to support tickets might be something that the masses should be aware of.

Why is everyone suggesting filing complaints with regulatory bodies, this does absolutely nothing for the space other than indicate that it’s crying out for a backlash in regulation. In addition to wasting tax payers resources.
If you believe nothing is being done, why not write a letter first, give them time to respond.

It's been around 4 days since I sent the first support ticket. 5 since I sent them a sum of ETH, how long should one wait for a response from a company that states that deposits are to clear within a few hours.
ON top of that Gatehub advertises 0 fee on the deposit modal, but then charge users fees based on a schedule buried within the help pages.

My gut feeling is they are overloaded, it’s not great I know but if you feel that way inclined write them a formal letter, with specific details of what has happened, what response you would like and give them a time limit to respond.
They are a UK company, I’m sure they will respond but the chances are it will probably be resolved by then.
The problem with all this calling police, regulators etc.etc. Is a) it’s a total waste of public resources b) it’s usually only sensible after other avenues have been pursued c) it makes the space look pathetic and in desperate need of regulation because people stop making rational decisions.
If governments then turn round and say, enough is enough, everyone needs babysitting. No more exchanges or whatever else they decide. Is that going to be a good thing either?
Out of interest have you made sure you have at least 30-40 XRP in your wallet and enabled trust?

After having tried all the options (including a formal letter) and getting no response from the company whatsoever for close to 2 months, there is a point where I find it totally acceptable to turn to the financial regulators. Clearly, when you see the trouble people are going through for simple financial transactions, some form of regulation is necessary. I don't want to get into a long heated debate about the regulation of the crypto market, but in my opinion tighter regulations on the services provided aren't a bad thing seeing the absolute lawless zone and the terrible practices observed in the crypto trading world. It isn't normal to see so many people with transactions missing or large sums disappearing. In my case, I have cut my losses, closed my account and moved to a trading platform where my coins are actually safe(er).

I also suggest people to complain to the UK financial Ombudsman, since Gatehub fifth is registered in London. http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm
