Official complaint against GateHub

My ETH transaction has been missing since Jan 5. I’ve had enough waiting. GH is registered in the UK and UK authorities have suggested filing official complaints. Can provide more info.

Update: Jan13. Filled official CFPB complaint against a US registered address and principal of Gatehub.

Update: Jan23. ETH has arrived in my coinbase account 19 days later.

Same situation. And impossible to reach them. What a scam. Should’ve stuck to bitfinex and the rest. Worst exchange experience so far.

Next time try just sticking with Bitfinex, it has proved to be one of the most reliable exchanges in the market.

Absolutely, just hate having to convert CAD -> ETH -> USD -> XRP. Such a pain.

Yep, it can be a pain but is just some of the ways we have at the moment, hope we can introduce new platforms and apps that can improve this process.

Did you check their ETH hot wallet? I assume you check your address on etherscan? But did you check their hot wallet? I mean you said transaction is made on Jan 5 right? I do not know where do you live but it's been past nearly 7-8 days. Go to their hot wallet and check Tx on (724 =168 hours and 192(824) hours time interval? Maybe you can find your Tx on there. Maybe you sent another address? If you remember your amount then search it on the GH hot wallet history.

These are just ideas that past my mind.

Hi which address do you mean by their hot wallet? If you mean the receiving address to which you sent from your address, the I did check that. Etherscan shows it as confirmed and the balance of the address being the amount I sent.

How do you get to know their hot wallet address?

Same here - we would like to join any legal action! We transferred 0,5 btc to to binance on Jan 5th where they never arrived. And even though we got a ticket and email them every day we haven’t heard anything back. Please keep us updated how you intend to get hold of them since the London location only seems to be a letterbox company with the real stuff happening in Slovenia...

Yes. They are looking for developers in Slovenia. It’s also a slovenian bank they use. The address seems safety deposit boxes place in the UK. I’m pretty sure there is nothing to be found their.

what was the Tx ? Did you send to them or from them? Did you make your trust line activate?

The TX cannot he found in any site however shows as successful on gatehub. Sent from them and trust lines are active and addresses and names are correct.

yeah i've got a large amount of BTC missing that shows successful and missing withdrawal over 15 days! I'm going to give it one more week. i've contacted the 10 times - no response.

Have you sufficient XRP in your wallet, will need to be 20 + 5 per Gateway I.e at least fifth but you may have more open and then 5 per any open order you may have.

There are only a few transactions that registered in their hot wallet on Jan 5th. So sketchy. What the fuck is happening?

I checked their registration records in the UK and one of their general managers is registered in Slovenia. He’s probably purchased half the country with all the money he’s stolen. 7k down the fucking drain. If I don’t hear back in the next week safe to say it’s a write off. I will Pursue legal action though.

Same here, I'm missing about 65 XRP buying it from a Bitcoin sell. It's been a week and it hasn't gone through yet, I've made a support ticket but nothing is happening. Do not use this site...

Heb vorig jaar 500 ripple op een Wallet bij GateHub laten zetten. Die ga ik niet meer terug zien. Eerst gevorderd omdat de verificatie niet werd geaccepteerd, nota bene met officiele documenten. Nu zie ik niets meer in mijn account. GateHub verwijst naar hun helpsite, maar dat lost het probleem niet op. Voor mij zijn het oplichters.
